Bringing Life into the World

Bringing Life into the World

Homeless pregnant women fall through the cracks of social service agencies.
How can we build a culture of life when these women have no one to guide them and no where for them to go?
You want to help. With so many women on the street facing crisis pregnancies, what can you do?
You pray for the women you see on the streets. You even donate to local shelters. It can feel overwhelming when the problem is so large.
How do you know if it’s enough? You wish there was a way to see your donations in action.

The Gabriel Project Mission
As a creation of The Gabriel Project, St. Mary’s Home for Mothers still partners with GPKC in many ways such as monitoring of funding and utilizing the Angel Program. They give us a greater reach to the community.
The Angel Program
Each of our mothers has the opportunity to be assigned an Angel, a volunteer who is assigned to each of our mothers and is responsible for ongoing contact with her — not just up to the birth of her child but for as long as is necessary. They become a true mentor and companion for her journey.
Our Volunteers
Our volunteers provide everything from yard work to cleaning, collecting and organizing donations, to watering and tending our gardens and trees. They are the backbone of our ministry.
